January – February 2009:  Hereford Stitch n Bitch were “Showing Off Again” at Hereford Museum with an inspirational exhibition of knit crochet showcasing the full range of talent with this amazing group!  From Renske’s First project Strawberry Tea Cosy to Sue Hawkins inimitable shawls; Anneke’s Feather & Fan knits in Shetland Lace & manos Silk; Marion’s Sea themed blanket, seaweed scarf and bag with socks that rock; silk that shimmers and knits from the 40’s.  The display cases were packed with colour and skill!

Description: contemporary textile art from Anne Shoring, Maggie Farmer, Julie Stevenson, Shelly Sinclair, Dawn Ford and Marches Scribes. This was partnered with an exhibition of artisan yarns demonstrating the skills of hand dyers and spinners from across Herefordshire and the Borders.
